Our group is happy to present the following Winter Closeup Themed Contest! 3 photographers will be chosen by our Founder (JessicaDobbs (https://www.deviantart.com/jessicadobbs)) and Co-Founder (JeffreyDobbs (https://www.deviantart.com/jeffreydobbs)). They will take the time to look through the Contest Folder and vote on 3 photographers and their pictures that best showcase a closeup of winter in some capacity.

An Update or Two...
Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you all know of a change we've made to the submission process here at Cool-Photos (https://www.deviantart.com/cool-photos). These were put into effect to control the number of submissions... we were just getting overwhelmed. See below for the changes!
:bulletblue: We will accept just five (5) submissions per week to the Featured2 and Featured Photo-manipulations folders.
:bulletblue: We will accept just two (2) submissions per week to the Suggestions for Journal Features folder.

Apologies and a Call for Extra Help
Hey everyone, I just wanted to apologize for the absence lately. I've been super busy with my real job and with getting my photography business up and running. Also, the last two weeks, I was on vacation. So that's why there was a big delay in approvals for submissions! But I'm back now and shouldn't be as busy with winter slowly approaching.
Also, I would like to ask if anyone would like to join our moderator team to help us out? If so, please send a note to me or to this group with the following questions answered and I will get back to you asap. Thanks!
